👋 About LearnSpark

LearnSpark ("we," "our," or "the app") is an educational flashcard application designed for children ages 3–8. It is published on the Amazon Appstore. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information in connection with the app.

We are committed to protecting the privacy of children who use our app and complying with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and all applicable privacy laws.

🚫 Information We Do NOT Collect

LearnSpark is a fully offline, self-contained educational app. We do not collect:

• ❌ Names, email addresses, or any personal identifiers
• ❌ Location data or GPS information
• ❌ Photos, microphone input, or camera access
• ❌ Device identifiers (IMEI, MAC address, advertising ID)
• ❌ Usage analytics or behavioral data

• ❌ Payment or billing information
• ❌ Social media data or third-party account info

📱 How the App Works

LearnSpark operates entirely on your device. All progress data (stars earned, XP points, cards completed) is stored locally on the device only using standard device storage. This data never leaves your device and is never transmitted to any server.

The app does not require an internet connection to function. It does not make any network requests, does not connect to any server, and does not contain any third-party SDKs that collect data.

👨‍👩‍👧 Children's Privacy (COPPA)

LearnSpark is directed to children under the age of 13. In compliance with COPPA:

• We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13
• We do not require registration or account creation to use the app
• Parental controls are built into the app (math-question gate for settings)
• No behavioral advertising is served to any user
• No in-app purchases require children to provide personal data
• No social features, chat, or community elements exist in the app

If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us immediately at privacy@learnsparkapp.online and we will take immediate corrective action.

💰 In-App Purchases

LearnSpark may offer optional in-app purchases (such as additional category packs) through the Amazon Appstore. All payment processing is handled entirely by Amazon and is subject to Amazon's own privacy policy and terms of service. We do not receive, store, or process any payment information.

📢 Advertising

LearnSpark contains no advertising. We do not display ads, use ad networks, or share data with advertising companies. This applies to all users, including children.

🔗 Third-Party Services

LearnSpark does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or social media SDKs. The app does not link to external websites within its gameplay or learning content.

The app is distributed through the Amazon Appstore, which has its own privacy practices. We encourage you to review Amazon's Privacy Policy.

🔒 Data Security

Since LearnSpark does not collect or transmit any personal data, there is no risk of data breach affecting user privacy. All local progress data is protected by the device's own security measures (device PIN, biometric lock, etc.).

🌍 International Users (GDPR)

For users in the European Economic Area (EEA): Since we collect no personal data, there is no personal data to process, and no legal basis for processing is required. If you have questions about your rights under GDPR, please contact us.

🔄 Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and notify users through an app update notice on the Amazon Appstore.

We encourage parents to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

⚖️ Your Rights

Because we do not collect personal data, there is no personal information to access, correct, or delete. However, you may delete all local app data at any time by uninstalling the app from your device. This will permanently remove all locally stored progress data.
